The vipro-DUO: a synthesis of tried-and-tested knowledge and innovative spirit

When proven technologies are improved even further, it’s only fair that they're given a new name: Based on the most recent technical updates to the vipro-PUMP and the established ViscoDUO, it’s taken just under a year to carry out development work on the vipro-DUO. With this, the 2-component sector now also has a dosing head in a modular design that combines the best of both worlds with regard to design and functionality.

Designers and mechanical engineers alike can count on optimized installation spaces, thanks to the reduced mounting bracket. Those in favor of automation will be pleased with the technically sound option of combining the vipro-DUO with a robot via the mounting plate. A double side outlet guarantees reliable ventilation at the mixing block. Additionally, the designers have optimized the pump connection to the mixing block and made it easier to service.

Users can now benefit from reduced interfering contours thanks to the frontal dosing pressure sensors for process monitoring. The vipro-DUO can be easily calibrated with high accuracy at the process pressure level via a corresponding valve. Customers familiar with the modular design of the vipro-PUMP can now also benefit from this feature with the vipro-DUO. Like many other products from ViscoTec, the vipro-DUO is based on the tried-and-tested progressive cavity technology. With regard to media, the vipro-DUO is just as versatile as other ViscoTec technologies: A wide range of media — ranging from low to high viscosity — can be dosed, for which precise results and high product lifetimes can be achieved, even with high filler content. Even when it comes to processing 2-component media of various viscosities and simultaneously significantly varying mixing ratios, the vipro-DUO delivers extremely high performance.
