Award winning Mantis stereo microscope now with new low profile bench stand

Unparallelled ergonomics and an unprecedented three-dimensional stereo image, makes the eyepieceless stereo microscope from Vision Engineering a great alternative to conventional microscopes, low magnification up to 20x.

The design of the low profile stand makes it possible to optimise your bench top space to enable components to be inspected and manipulated with ease.

Mantis employs ‘spatial imaging'' optical technology, which can be applied to lower magnification applications, removing the need for microscope eyepieces. This in turn has a huge impact on ergonomic benefits such as allowing ambient light into the eyes, eliminating eye strain. Users also have much better peripheral vision, so hand-eye co-ordination is easy, plus they can wear glasses. Ergonomic benefits promote increased accuracy and productivity when using Mantis as an inspection tool.

The system is available in three variants: Mantis Compact with a fixed magnification from 2x to 8x; Mantis Elite version with a 2-station objective changer and lenses from 2x to 20x; Mantis Elite-Cam version which benefits from the same configuration and the Mantis Elite but also has an integrated digital camera, for image capture and reporting during inspection processes.

With the new low profile stand, the Mantis brings even greater flexibility for users making the Mantis an ideal tool for inspection, rework, manipulation, dissection, soldering, hand assembly, and general quality control.

The Mantis isn''t just ''another'' stereo microscope, it''s revolutionary... and bring you great benefits.
