Unico filter, one of the “spotlight” products by VLS Technologies, also arrives in Languedoc
Languedoc, a French wine-growing area located at the East of Languedoc-Roussillon region nowadays recognized as AOC (Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée) is predominantly characterized by lowlands, and it’s renowned for the production of different types
In order to understand the value of Languedoc-Roussillon inside the French wine-making scenario, suffice it to say that more than one third of the whole amount of wine produced in France every year comes from this region.
Recently VLS Technologies also entered in Languedoc with Unico filter, a technology that allows to filter all the product (wines and lees) with a single solution: the client supplied with Unico uses the organic membranes to filter red and white wines, and the stainless steel membranes for tank bottoms and fresh lees.
A remarkable advantage, above all for the medium and small producers who demonstrated great appreciation for Unico, a technology awarded with the “Innovation Challenge” prize at SIMEI 2017 exhibition.
