WERMA Signaltechnik launches a new multicolour LED permanent beacon

The practical square shaped new WERMA 853 permanent LED beacon offers 7 bright colours

Rietheim-Weilheim 24.11.2015 WERMA Signaltechnik launches the new 853 series permanent LED beacon which, thanks to the use of RGB LEDs, can signal up to seven different colours.

WERMA has extended the 853 series of square beacons with a multicolour version. In just one attractively designed LED permanent beacon a very flexible traffic light solution is offered. With a protection rating of IP67 the beacon is especially suitable for building application, access/entry points and machines.

Multicolours in just one beacon

Depending on the application, the new 853 Permanent LED Multicolour is available in two versions.

The 24 volt version has 7 different colours (red, green, amber, clear, cyan, magenta and blue). Product Manager Birgit Schmidberger comments that the bit technology programing feature is especially user-friendly as only two outputs are required for the three basic colours, red, green and amber, thus saving set up and installation time.

The second version offers the ideal solution for Building Automation applications in 115 – 230 V. In this version however only three colours are available, red, amber and green.
