A design modification to the newly integrated control pressure regulator ensures an almost complete compensation of supply pressure and outlet fluctuations. As a result, users can rely on constant conditions in the gas supply at any time. That means WITT dome-loaded pressure regulators ensure the highest process reliability."
In contrast to spring-loaded pressure regulators, dome-loaded pressure regulators are operated by gas pressure. This so-called control gas is monitored via a separate control pressure regulator. Two major advantages of WITT dome-loaded pressure controller sets are their ease-of-use and flexibility. The control pressure regulator can be used to increase or reduce the gas pressure at any time, as soon as another working pressure is required.
"With the latest models, the control module is now fully integrated into the housing," declares Heyer. "That makes the system more compact, robust and maintenance friendly." New materials for seals, diaphragm and threaded joints have also increased the weather-resistance for outdoor installations, allowing for a temperature range of -30 to +50°C (-22 to 122°F).
WITT supplies its dome-loaded pressure regulator sets as fully assembled units complete with control pressure regulators and pressure gauges. There''s no need for any separate gas supply for pressure control – the pilot system works with the gas in the line that is regulated.
