Autonomous driving at the 2023 World Internet of Things Expo
Chip-level GNSS/INS
The four-day World Internet of Things Expo came to a perfect conclusion in Wuxi today. Our wireless inclinometer and car-grade GNSS/INS chip modules supporting high-speed resolution RTK were unveiled at this expo. Among them, the most exciting thing is that our IMU is used in the actual operation of the unmanned minibus @WeRide.ai.
Currently, there are 6 permanent unmanned minibus commuter loops in Wuxi, achieving Level 4 driverless driving. There are no steering wheels, accelerators, and brake pedals in the minibuses. There are LiDARs and cameras all around. The maximum speed is 40km/h and the maximum passenger capacity is 9 people. The ride is very comfortable, and there is only one human safety officer on board to respond to emergencies and not participate in the driving.
