Experiment Contents:the displacement of the clamping platform on X, Y and Z axis is realized by stepper motor control.The signal generator and power amplifier act as the excitation end to give the flexible piezoelectric ultrasonic transducer an excitation sinusoidal signal.The fixed position hydrophone is used to receive the ultrasonic wave emitted by the flexible piezoelectric ultrasonic transducer underwater, and feedback to the host computer through the oscilloscope to collect data.
Experiment Objective:in order to meet the needs of long-term adjuvant treatment of bone injury, a flexible piezoelectric ultrasonic transducer is designed.
Experiment Equipment:host computer, signal generator, power amplifier (ATA-4011B), signal generator, hydrophone, test tank.
Experiment Process:
In this test, a sinusoidal voltage with a frequency of 321.15kHz(the resonant frequency of the device previously measured in water by the impedance analyzer) and an amplitude of 10V was used as the excitation signal of the flexible piezoelectric ultrasonic transducer. When the frequency of sinusoidal excitation was repeatedly changed without changing the relative position of the hydrophone and the amplitude of the excitation voltage, it was found that the ultrasonic signal intensity received by the hydrophone reached the maximum when the frequency was 357kHz.
Experiment Result:
The low intensity ultrasonic wave generated by the flexible piezoelectric ultrasonic transducer has the potential ability to assist fracture healing. Its safety performance depends on the amplitude of excitation voltage and the length of irradiation time.
