F2414 Industrial GPRS Modem

The System provides real-time meter reading.

System consists electric meters, F2414 GPRS IP MODEM ( DTU ), and the central server (SCADA System), as well as sensors for monitoring use. F2414 IP MODEM collect the data through the 2G/3G network to the server. With fast and accurate data collection, statistical analysis, it generate electricity payment receipts quickly. It greatly improve efficiency comparing with the traditional manual meter reading.

F2X14 IO Instruction:

IO1: Digital input/output 0---3.3V

IO2: Digital input/output 0---3.3V

IO3: Digital input/output 0---3.3V

IO4: Analog Current input (4-20mA)

IO5: Analog Current input (4-20mA)

* IO4/IO5 analog voltage input(0-5V) optional

How to program F2X14 IO:

Send MODBUS command from the SCADA to IP MODEM to read the IO value:

SCADA -- virtual serial COM -- TCP2COM -- 2G/3G -- F2X14 -- IO

Configure IO1, IO2, IO3 as digital input and IO4, IO5 as analog input.

IO1 is digital input, the register addr is 0x20000 .

IO2 is digital input, the register addr is 0x20001 .

IO3 is digital input, the register addr is 0x20002 .

IO4 is analog input, the register addr is 0x40000 .

IO5 is analog input, the register addr is 0x40001 .

* Note: The modbus command with register addr 0x20000-0x20002/ 0x40000/ 0x40001 will be sent to corresponding IO, the other data will be sent to RS232/485 interface.

How to read RS485 MODBUS data:

Send MODBUS command from the SCADA to IP MODEM to read the RS485 MODBUS data.

SCADA -- virtual serial COM -- TCP2COM -- 2G/3G -- F2X14 -- RS485

* Note: The register addr of modbus device which connect to F2X14 RS485 should different from F2X14 IO register addr.
