PowerHV- 104MVar Capacitor Bank for Power Transformer testing

Rating of the capacitor bank is designed to be 104400kvar to satisfy temperature rise test on 220kV transformers

Rated voltage of the capacitor bank is 11// kV. Capacitors in each phase could be divided into six groups, which are connected in series or parallel via pneumatic isolating switches. Connection of three phases is changeable between Y and D. In Y type connection, the bank is available of 5 output voltage values, 11 -22 -33 -44 -66kV kV. In D type connection, the bank is available of 5 output voltage values, 6.35 -12.7-19.1-25.4-38.1kV. Capacitance is able to free adjustable to suit for various test needs. The capacitor bank is able to self discharge and protect in case of breakdown. Each capacitor in the bank is equipped with fuse for safety. Between each groups, the support is made with 45kV insulation poles.
