SX-41

High Speed Side Entry Robot

This high-speed robot is designed to take out products from injection molding machines. Its incredible take-out speed has been measured at 0,32s during a dry cycle at Yushin's factory. Due to the side-entry configuration, SX-41 can be installed in low-ceiling production areas or if other auxiliary equipment is blocking a top entry solution. Furthermore it is ideally used in dust-free environments or clean rooms, since SX-41 can be used by default in clean rooms up to ISO class 6.

SX-41 has advanced vibration controls, because its kick frame (z-axis) incorporates an CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic)-panel onto the arm to aid in the reduction of settling times. In addition, we have applied our philosophy of design optimization, which has resulted in a uniquely-shaped lightweight frame and in combination with a high power motor, the robot can achieve very fast movements.

The controller E-Touch II-S has a 10.4'' full-color touch panel and can be operated intuitively by technicians thanks to an icon-based control scheme.

This high-cycle model is therefore ideal for fine precision molding in cleanrooms, e.g. for medical or packaging products. However it can also be realized for any other project if the goal is a fast and reliable side entry robot.
