Zenit and Tsurumi: strategic alliance agreement

The agreement between the two companies defines both a commercial and a financial cooperation.

Zenit International SpA, holding for Zenit Group, company based in San Cesario sul Panaro (MO), manufacturer of submersible electric pumps, with a consolidated turnover forecast for 2019 of over 35 million euros, signed today a strategic alliance agreement with Tsurumi Manufacturing co ., LTD, a multinational company based in Japan, leader in the production and distribution of electric pumps.

The agreement between the two companies defines both a commercial and a financial cooperation.

The former will be developed on some markets (North America, Japan and Asia, excluding China), through the supply of products from the Zenit range with the Tsurumi brand.

The latter, aimed at supporting Zenit’s expansion program, is centered on the issue of bonds subscribed by Tsurumi.

This strategic alliance will allow Zenit to develop its markets, with new products and new services and also through new investments in the production area, with the goal of consolidating its brand and its commercial strength on the markets where it is already present.

The current legal structure, shareholders, organization and distribution network will not be changed.

Tsurumi will be able to benefit from this alliance by promoting the products of the Zenit range, using its own brand, in markets where its presence is already strong and consolidated.

Zenit International S.p.A. is a holding company, with a 100% Italian capital composed of three partners: Lorenzo Bottan, Davide Bottan and Massimiliano Volta. Founded 60 years ago, it has now become a leader in the production of submersible electric pumps for waste water, submerged mixers and aeration systems. Zenit has its headquarters in Italy, two factories in China and offices in Singapore and Luxembourg.

Tsurumi manufacturing CO., LTD. is a company founded in 1948, with headquarters in Osaka, Japan, offices and production sites in Asia and America, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, with a capital of 5188 million Yen.

Tsurumi is leader in the production, distribution and rental of submersible pumps for construction, mining, sewage, flood prevention and others.
