In order to allow for easy integration Zentro has developed the battery management controller (series BMC).

In addition to controlling the systems parameters – voltage/ current/ output power / temperature the BMC system delivers a range of additional data via a flexible fieldbus-system. During normal operation the collection of operational data provides the basis for early identification of possible system degradations. An integrated fieldbus system enables the user to include the UPS in this early warning system. Preventative maintenance is thus defined by the actual level of wear and tear and not by predetermined intervals. The customer can thus easily integrate test scenarios in his system. Sophisticated algorithms control the charging process appropriate for the relevant medium thus ensuring the optimum functionality of the back up in case of a fault.
