Disc coupling
Diaphragm coupling has a thin spring, made into various shapes, and there are bolts respectively connected with the two half couplings which are connected to main and driven shaft for transmit motion and power.
The structure of diaphragm coupling is simple, there is no gap between the elastic elements, so no lubrication is needed, and maintenance is easy, with easy balance, light weight and strong adaptability to environment, but the torsional elasticity is low, damping performance is poor, mainly used for stable load transmission and poor working environment. Diaphragm coupling are widely used in metallurgy, mining, petroleum, machinery, electric power, shipbuilding, heavy lifting machinery, water pump, paper making, light industry, printing, chemical and other industries where power transmission is needed.
