Unique multi-point adjustment for calibrations of sensor and measuring device

Unique to date in the field of calibration is the possibility of multi-point adjustment, which can be carried out as part of a calibration of ALMEMO® measurement technology.

A calibration certificate usually contains the measured values, deviations from the reference value, the respective measurement uncertainty, details of the calibration procedure, the ambient conditions and any special measurement conditions. Unique to date in the field of calibration is the possibility of multi-point adjustment, which can be carried out as part of a calibration of ALMEMO® measurement technology. By using intelligent sensor plugs, it is possible to adjust the test item to be calibrated, i.e. the sensor and measuring chain, to the target value at each calibration point. This means that no further corrections need to be made by the customer later in the process. Possible transmission errors are eliminated and the process can continue immediately without delays due to data input. The correction values of the test specimen are stored in the memory of the ALMEMO® connector and are available at any time. This data can also be used to determine the long-term drift. In addition to the identification of the measuring equipment, individual ID numbers can be stored in the memory of the connector. If a digital ALMEMO® connector is used, the usual, obligatory dismantling of the entire measuring equipment on site for calibration can be dispensed with, as only the sensor with its connector plug needs to be submitted for calibration. Incidentally, sensors from other manufacturers can also be digitized and multi-point adjusted using these intelligent, digital connectors. Only the ALMEMO® measuring device is required for this.
