The DS4000-Exd flameproof dewpoint hygrometer is a state-of-the-art instrument designed to provide reliable and accurate measurement of trace moisture levels in gases, for example; clean natural gas, in hazardous zones. This hygrometer is specifically designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and has been certified to meet global safety standards.
The DS4000-Exd hygrometer is constructed with high-quality materials and features a flameproof design that prevents ignition in explosive environments. One of the key features of the DS4000-Exd hygrometer is its ability to measure continuous dew point in real-time, ensuring accurate measurement of trace moisture levels in the gas being sampled. This hygrometer is designed to operate at temperatures ranging from -20°C to 50°C and can measure dew points between the range of -110 °C to +20 °C (-166 °F to +68 °F).
The AMT-Ex Intrinsically Safe Dewpoint Transmitter is connected to the DS4000-Exd in the hazardous area to form a continuous and reliable dewpoint monitoring system. Alpha Moisture Systems also manufacture and design specific made-to-order Sampling Systems for hazardous zones such as the SS-NGH and SS-TEG for Natural Gas as an example.
