Front, back and shoulders labelling
At the request of a renowned distillery based in the Middle East,
ALTECH has devised an interesting system for applying 3 labels - front,
back, and shoulder (in phase) - to glass bottles.
The customer needed to apply labels of different formats to a wide range of bottles.
The label sizes of every product are different. For this reason, the linear system - in this case an ALline C - is equipped with two ALritma labelling heads for body labels as
well as with a third head for shoulder labels. Body labels - placed on the front and
back of each bottle - are first applied and then perfectly adapted to the product
surface using brushes. The same technique is used for shoulder labels, which
are applied by means of a swinging device.
The system is extremely flexible and requires just a few, precise
operations to label numerous bottle types and formats.
