Alytech Launches ZEPHYR II

Alytech is proud to launch ZEPHYR II, the next generation of the GasMix™ smart gas diluter. ZEPHYR II is the first compact 2-channel gas diluter to run AlySoft, the unified software platform behind the entire GasMix™ range, on an internal PC embedded inside the instrument.

What's new vs. the original ZEPHYR :
Where the original ZEPHYR was firmware-bound (ZeSoft), limited to 10 stored sequences and a fixed gas library, ZEPHYR II is software-native from the ground up.
The upgrade is comprehensive:
- Unlimited stored sequences, gases, and methods. No ceiling on method libraries
- Immediate mode : live setpoint changes during a run, without stopping the sequence
- Real-time uncertainty calculation : propagating cylinder certified uncertainty and live flow conditions into the final result
- Exportable audit trail : one-click USB data export, ready for ISO/IEC 17025, GLP, and pharmaceutical QC
- 7" capacitive touchscreen : faster and more responsive than the previous 5" resistive display
- Seamless AlySoft software updates : over the lifetime of the instrument, no firmware reflash required

The dilution physics is unchanged: ±1% of setpoint flow accuracy, less than 0.1% repeatability, 1:2000 dilution ratio (extendable to 1:10,000), and full ISO 6145-7 compliance. Proven performance, now paired with professional-grade software.

For laboratories already operating an AIOLOS III, Hurricane, or any other GasMix™ instrument, ZEPHYR II joins the same ecosystem immediately. One software platform, one learning curve, one set of transferable methods across instruments.
