High-temperature reactors in the new amixon® pilot plant II
This technical pilot plant II was newly built by amixon for our customers. This is where we carry out demanding vacuum mix drying and synthesis reactions for our customers.
In test center II, amixon® has 3 new mixer-vacuum dryer-synthesis reactors. The development of new material and processes sometimes requires process equipment with special qualities. amixon® offers the possibility for piloting with your original goods. If gauge pressure or vacuum is required in the process chamber, then gas-tight shaft seals and closure fittings are needed. Sometimes there are even further requirements:
• free of dead space and hygienically
• suitable also suitable for abrasive bulk materials
• also suitable for chemically aggressive materials
• operable up to 350°C
• ceramic coating protects the mixed material
amixon® has reliable solutions for precisely such requirements. We will be happy to demonstrate these to you in our pilot plant II!
Oxygen is present in our ambient air at a level of 21%. Many unwanted reactions only take place when oxygen is present. The oxygen can be effectively banished from the mixing chamber by evacuating the ambient air from the mixing chamber. This is done when the mixing chamber is purged several times with an inert gas.
Bulk goods susceptible to oxidation, especially spices, instant food of high-quality or baby food will keep much longer if oxidizing atmospheric oxygen is eliminated. Oxygen in the air is eliminated. The mixed goods can be vacuumed in the mixer and then and then pressurized with an inert gas to ambient pressure before packaging/ filling takes place.

amixon® will participate in two trade fairs in March. At the trade fairs, amixon® experts will be available for consultations on all aspects of mixing technology and hygiene standards!
