IPOS 2: a first class headspace gas analyser for MAP O2 / O2&CO2 Packages

IPOS 2 is one of a few handheld gas analysers for MAP to be considered to have “industrial” performance. But what does that mean?

When using a gas analyser, most of the time you are in a production environment. This implies:

- Humidity and water splashes

- Crushing hazard, and potential rough handling

- Different staff at every shift

- Fear of losing data for traceability

Aneolia understood it, and decided to answer this need with a new device: the IPOS 2.

1- IPOS 2 is protected against water ingress:

With a high ingress protection (IP 54), the IPOS 2 is protected against water and dust ingress. If your team forgets to remove the device from the table during cleaning, the IP 54 rating will be really useful.

2 - IPOS 2 is protected against violent chocks:

With a full aluminum enclosure, the IPOS 2 is much better than its plastic made competitors. The sturdiness of the IPOS 2 will protect it against rough handling during production time. When the production is over, the carry case of the IPOS 2 will be the best place to store the device during the cleaning process. IPOS 2 is provided with a waterproof carry case IP 67.

3 - IPOS 2 is user-friendly, self-protecting, and can be used without specific training:

The IPOS 2 was designed to be user-friendly and intuitive, ideal for regular staff shift changes. Even if the person using the instrument has no training, the simple operation and self-protection will lead them to choose the product, and perform the test, no more complications.

IPOS 2 is also protected against incorrect use. With its flow control option, IPOS 2 will stop as soon as it detects a product going through the needle. The flow control option avoids liquid and powder suction, which in other models can lead to expensive repair costs.

4 - IPOS 2 is not influenced by the climatic conditions:

Did you know that your oxygen sensor is sensitive to weather change? The variation of atmospheric pressure can lead to incorrect oxygen values. This why the IPOS 2 has the automatic pressure compensation, when the atmospheric pressure changes the IPOS 2 adapts its sensor automatically.

5 – IPOS 2 has a full traceability system.

IPOS 2 records the last 12 measurements with product number, test result, date and time. Optionally, the memory can be extended to 400 measurements, and with data transfer via USB you can be sure of the accuracy of results. No more lost paper records.
