ATEQ introduces the VT36 at REIFEN

its most affordable TPMS sensor activation and programming tool.

ATEQ, the world’s number one TPMS tool manufacturer, will trigger a new wave in TPMS tools at this year’s Reifen Essen trade show in May. Not only will the full line-up of ATEQ’s industrial and aftermarket tools be presented, but also - for the first time - the VT36, will be showcased.

The ATEQ VT36 is affordable, making the tool accessible to small and medium size garages entering into the TPMS market. Designed for tough service station environments, it is the ideal TPMS tool for OEM and multi-brand workshops, tire service centers and car fleets.

With the VT36 in hand, a service manager or technician can quickly diagnose car TPMS sensors in the parking, without entering the car into the service bay. All sensor data is displayed in seconds: ID, battery status, tire temperature and pressure. If a sensor requires replacement, the VT36 contains a part number lookup library covering both OE and aftermarket sensors and provides steps to choose and program the right replacement among the leading aftermarket sensors.

Building on the success of the VT30 – already sold in tens of thousands to European garages – the novelties of the VT36 include a robust operating platform, grip-friendly design, a durable rechargeable lithium-polymer battery and the ability to program universal sensors.

“ATEQ’s mission is to help technicians service 100% of the cars 100% of the time, never to let their customers down. Our tools are universal and flexible and don’t lock the garage down to use one brand or sensor reference,” explains Agneta Ronceret, European TPMS Manager. “Since our tools are safety-related, we’ve made sure our embedded processes help prevent unsafe usage when programming new sensors”.

The VT36 recommended sales price in Europe is 379 Euros, and can be found in the ATEQ reseller network from June. For a demo, visit the ATEQ booth in Hall 1, booth 1A33, at the REIFEN tire trade fair in Essen, Germany, from 24 to 27 May 2016.
