Vibration meter-balancer for rotors BALTECH VP-3460

The BALTECH VP-3460 (series «VibraPoint») can operate on modes:

• Function «Vibrometer»,

• Function «Analyzer»,

• Function «Balancer»,

• Function «Self control»,

• Function «PC connect»,

• Function «Calculations».

The BALTECH VP-3460 (series «VibraPoint») provides measurements with averaging periods of 1-30 sec. The modes «Self control», «PC connect», «Calculations» grouped in menu «Tools».The operational modes are described below.

Function «Self control».

The “self control” mode show proper work of hardware and software of the device. We recommend to use this mode before each using of device. You can do it with connected sensors or without them – the mode check only internal scheme of device, not external cables and sensors. The view of LCD panel is shown on pic.2.2. Exact values of test magnitude, phase and revolution are mentioned in the passport of the BALTECH VP-3460 (series «VibraPoint»).

Function «Vibrometer».

This mode provides vibration measurement in accordance with ISO-10816 - RMS of velocity and peak-to-peak displacement in the 10-1000 Hz band. Measurement range is 0.1 - 99.9 mm/s or 1- 999 microns. The results are shown digitally and as a bar graph so the operator can easily see the stability of the measurements and choose a sensible averaging period.

Function «Analyzer».

Simple harmonics analysis of vibration (0.5*freq. - 9*freq.) with automatic or manual base frequency selection. Provided by vibration measurement on harmonics of speed frequency.

Measuring and control of:

- Vibration level (0.1-99.9 mm/s or 1-999 microns) over the full range of speed frequencies. Speed frequency can be tracked automatically or entered manually. Band-pass filters automatically follow the changes of rotor revolution to achieve correct results.

The mode is used to determine of type and source of vibration. By analyze of measured data you can define the problem such us disbalance, bearing defects etc.

At first time are measured RMS of velocity and revolution frequency.

Last string of the screen is a menu of harmonics measuring. You can measure values of vibration from 1/2 to 9 harmonic of revolution frequency by pressing buttons 1 or 2.
