Laser alignment of shafts, plates for centering shafts

The electric motor is adjustable in vertical and horizontal planes. Misalignment may be parallel, angular, or a combination of both.

Operation of the equipment with the misalignment can lead to:

• increased levels of vibration and noise unit;

• an increase of the friction forces and therefore increases energy consumption;

• heating of the bearings;

• the loss of lubricant;

• damage to load-bearing structures, breakage of anchor bolts;

• premature failure of fittings, bearing units, spherical gland seals;

• the production of defective products;

• emergency stop mechanism, the line of the plant;

• unplanned downtime of the enterprise.

When laser alignment of pumps, fans, compressors, gearboxes and electric motors always use new grooved plate for shaft alignment BALTECH-23458N. Our kits plates are delivered to the customer from the warehouse BALTECH GmbH in cases which are marked and convenient cell for all types of plates. The case has a marking, which plates are located inside the case. You do not need to open the case and see what there is inside. We supply two types of cases (code 8035 for plates type BALTECH-234N and case article 8038 plate BALTECH-5N).

For easy and accurate alignment laser additionally we recommend to apply the calibrated sets of probes (the exact thickness) BALTECH FG and adjustable BALTECH DM.

After centering fans always do the balancing on the spot using a portable device for dynamic balancer BALTECH VP-3470 or BALTECH VP-3460.

We invite all technical staff trained and certified in laser shaft alignment. Training course TOP 101 has a duration of one day and is held once a quarter in our office BALTECH GmbH, lübeck, Germany.
