New Converters Translate IO-Link Data to Analog Signals

Banner Engineering presents six new converters for process control, machine control, and industrial automation. These compact in-line converters enable communication between IO-Link devices and equipment that only responds to analog signals. For example, by connecting a converter to the IO-Link port of an IO-Link master, a user can send signals to an analog device such as a pneumatic actuator, solenoid, or motor starter. With six available configurations, the new converters come in rugged 45-mm housings (meeting IP65, IP67, and IP68 standards) and connect to an IO-Link Master with conventional M12 cables.
