The Exchange Tower - flexiblel storage system for sheet metal by Boeckelt-Tower

Boasting a modular design, the exchange tower merges the advantages of a drawer rack with those of a cassette rack.

The system is based on a versatile drawer system including top-loading option that serves as an additional storage location. The front doors can be swivelled by means of a convenient roller lifting device. 3 different types of drawers can be combinated individual.

An added Böckelt tower cassette storage system creates additional storage capacity and makes full use of the available room height. The operator side can either be on the front or the back. Designed as a self-supporting frame construction, the drawers offer the user an exceptional degree of flexibility. The design makes it possible to place system cassettes of different formats on top of the drawers from both sides of the exchange tower.

Other uses include the option to supply stacks or cuts of metal sheets (even if stored on wood pallets), to restock cut components or to pick assemblies on top of the drawers.The number of the necessary drawers is planned individually in accordance with the intended use.

The optional slewing crane with a swivel range of 270° in combination with a chain hoist and a vacuum lifter can be adapted to each of the 4 corners. This makes it possible to supply adjacent processing machines with material directly from the exchange tower.
