SIL Certifications with CNCA Authority

The certificates can be verified on the official website of the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA).

After the first SIL Qualification in April 2021, recently, Jiwei Tuning Fork Level Switch and Magnetic Level Indicator have again passed the review and qualified with the SIL2/SIL3 Certifications issued by Instrumentation Technology and Economy Institute, PR. China. The certificates can be verified on the official website of the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA): https://www.cnca.gov.cn/

SIL stands for Safety Integrity Level. It is a safety standard to evaluate Safety Instrumented Systems in process Industries, such as oil & gas, chemicals, pharmaceutical, etc. There are four levels of Safety Integrity named as SIL1, SIL2, SIL3 and SIL4. Of these SIL 1 is the lowest and SIL4 is the highest level. Petrochemical instruments are generally SIL2 and SIL3.

There are a wide variety of level sensors available on the market, some of these level sensors are not certified at all. However, safety have always been a quality stamp of Jiwei level measurement instruments.
