DB481 High-Temperature Humidity Transmitter

A "Durable Monitoring Solution" for Dehumidification Systems of Setting Machines

In setting machine dehumidification systems, exhaust duct temperature-humidity monitoring balances energy use and drying efficiency. A printing and dyeing enterprise’s two setting lines once suffered high maintenance costs and uncontrolled energy use due to frequent sensor failures in 210-230℃ high-humidity ducts (with dust/acidic volatiles). The DB481 Humidity Transmitter resolved this via its durability and stability.
1. On-Site Pain Points (Old Sensors)
Short life: Failed in ~1 year (high-temp oxidation/dust clog), annual replacement cost > RMB 30k for 2 lines;
Data error: ±5% VOL humidity deviation → incorrect fan control, extra 300 kWh daily power use;
Tedious maintenance: Monthly probe disassembly/cleaning, 2hrs downtime/line each time → 1,000m daily output loss per line.
2. Core Advantages of DB481
Temp/corrosion resistance: 0~250℃ (customizable to 400℃), 316L stainless steel probe + heat tracing (prevents sulfide clog);
Stable monitoring: ±2% F.S accuracy (±0.5% in 10-20% VOL), T90<20s response, remote calibration (cuts operation time to 10mins);
Structural adaptability: DN65 flange installation, 400mm probe (reaches duct core), IP65 protection, purge port for easy cleaning.
3. Application Results
Longer life: Stable operation >3 years, 80% lower annual maintenance costs;
Energy savings: 280 kWh daily electricity saved, ~RMB 160k annual cost cut for 2 lines;
Higher output: 5% more effective runtime, 150,000m annual output increase.
The DB481 solves high-temp sensor issues (short life/inaccuracy) and creates economic value for printing and dyeing enterprises via data-driven energy efficiency.
