Druck Oil & Gas
Delivering sensing solutions
In the demanding world of subsea oil and gas production, the ability of the operator to control the asset is determined by a complex set of variables, however, this ability to control relies essentially on the quality of information from both subsea and topside operations. This information is provided by subsea, topside sensors and these are the cornerstone of the production system as operators seek to drive up production rates.
Druck is uniquely placed within the market to provide oil and gas sensor solutions encompassing a broad range of applications from Drilling to Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) areas. Examples of our applications:
- Wellhead pressure/temperature/flow
- Control pod pressure/temperature
- Downhole tool pressure/temperature/flow
- Subsea processing pressure/temperature/flow
- FPSO flow/moisture/flare gas
- FPSO hydraulic power unit pressure
- Blow Off Preventers sensors (BOP)
- Subsea sensor simulators
- Primary and auxilary power generation
- Topside control systems
Explore our Sensors:
- PTX400
Wellhead pressure & temperature sensors
Pressure and temperature measurements across the tree are critical to controlling the well and to the asset management of the field. The expansion of the field-proven PTX 400 wellhead PT/TT sensor to a wide capability product with accuracies up to 0.025% FS and a full suite of analogue and digital interfaces provides customers with a full product solution within a controlled delivery period
- PTX300
Subsea control module sensors
Measurement of hydraulic pressure within the subsea control module (SCM) at high hyperbaric pressures demands a reliable, compact and rugged pressure sensor to report on the health of the hydraulic control valves (DCV). The PTX 300 series control pod sensor combines all these features within a ASME IX welded construction and consists, of qualified sub components, which combine to build a customized contract solution within a controlled delivery period.
- PTX661
Mud sensors
The PTX 661 hammer union pressure transmitter has been designed for use in extremely harsh environments in both on-shore and off-shore Oil Drilling operations where high shock and vibration is likely to be encountered.
The PTX 661 incorporates Druck’s proprietary high-accuracy silicon sensor with up to 2.5 times better accuracy than many competitive devices. The low-volume oil-fill technology allows response times of faster than 2 kHz. The field-proven 4 to 20 mA electronics, packaged in a rugged enclosure, provide power supply regulation, reverse polarity, overvoltage and EMC protection. The fully encapsulated design provides exceptional reliability in high shock and vibration environments.
- ESP Pressure Modules
Electrical submersible pumping systems
Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) are primarily use as an artificial lift method to increase the volume of fluids from wells. They are typically employed when the pressure is low “down hole” and require artificial lift in order to lower the back pressure and increase production volumes.
The benefits of monitoring are increased system run life, equipment performance helping to decrease lifting costs, accurate well data increasing well production, proactive intervention and planning decreasing running costs.
The artificial lift pump requires an ESP sensor to provide information on key details such as intake pressure, discharge pressure, temperature, vibration and motor condition. Druck’s modules can be utilised on both the intake and discharge pressure monitoring.
Druck has been instrumental in the ESP market for over 15 years and manufactures leading sensor technology.
- UNIK5800/5900 Series
Flameproof/explosion-proof pressure sensing platform, SIL certified version
The UNIK 5900 is a compact and rugged version of the high performance UNIK 5000 pressure sensing platform with SIL certification. It also offers intrinsically safe, flameproof/ explosion proof or dust ignition protection by enclosure capability as required. It provides a cost-effective alternative to pressure gauges and switches in process, as well as in oil and gas operations.
- DPS40P
Bespoke pressure solutions for chemical injection
Qualified pressure sensors set in a customer specific arrangement.
Pressure Sensors measure pressure at multiple locations across the Chemical throttle valve (CTV) to derive the volumetric flow rate.
CTVs are installed on subsea trees and manifolds to provide continuous, accurate subsea injection of chemicals into the production systems
