EnviroChemie plans and builds a wastewater treatment plant for a manufacturer of body care products

EnviroChemie is planning and building an EnviModul modular wastewater treatment plant for a body care product manufacturer based in southern Germany.

The water used for rinsing during the production of naturopathic bath additives and shower gels contains remnants of natural ingredients, such as essential oils or organic fatty acids. The new wastewater treatment plant will treat this rinsing water in several stages before draining it into the local sewage system.

The modular wastewater treatment plant comprises an oil separator, a compact Split-O-Mat physico-chemical treatment plant and an aftertreatment process using gravel and carbon filters.

Once EnviroChemie had performed laboratory tests to determine which concept was ideal for treating the rinsing water, the water technology experts were awarded the contract to plan and build the new wastewater treatment plant.

In addition to providing the plant technology, the company will also deliver the agents needed to treat the wastewater.

The new wastewater treatment plant will clean the wastewater by more than 85%, thus saving the customer heavy pollution penalties in future.
