Flexibility in industrial cutting
eurolaser at Advanced Engineering 2026
New materials, changing part geometries and increasing production volumes continually place new demands on industrial manufacturing. At Advanced Engineering 2026 in Birmingham, German cutting system manufacturer eurolaser will present flexible system concepts for processing non-metallic materials. The focus will be on intelligent solutions for large-format cutting and discussions with visitors about their specific applications and current challenges in industrial production.
When cutting requirements change.
A cutting process that is ideally suited to an application today may face very different demands tomorrow. New materials may be introduced, geometries may change, production volumes may increase or previously manual processes may need to be automated. At the same time, quality, productivity and process reliability must remain consistently high.
For these changing requirements, the CO₂ laser offers distinct advantages as a cutting tool. The process is contactless and does not involve conventional tool wear. Changes to geometries can be implemented digitally without the need to manufacture new cutting tools. Depending on the material, there are further benefits. With many synthetic textiles, for example, the thermal process seals the cut edges, while self-adhesive materials can be processed without adhesive residue building up on the cutting tool.
A system approach to production.
For cost-effective industrial production, however, a precise cut alone is not enough. As production volumes increase, material feeding, part removal, production data and automated processes become increasingly important.
eurolaser develops its cutting systems around the specific application and production requirements. Rather than offering a standardised machine for every task, the focus is on a system configuration tailored to the individual production process. Different working areas can be combined with automated material handling, camera technology, software and additional mechanical tools, allowing the systems to be adapted to different materials, production volumes and levels of automation.
Before a system configuration is defined, materials can be tested at the eurolaser Application Centre in Lüneburg. This allows cut quality and suitable process parameters to be evaluated in advance. The modular system concept also allows systems to be expanded at a later stage as new applications are introduced or production requirements change.
Meet eurolaser at Advanced Engineering 2026.
eurolaser will be at Advanced Engineering at the NEC Birmingham on 4 and 5 November 2026. Visitors can discuss their specific cutting applications and production requirements with eurolaser specialists and learn more about system concepts tailored to their individual needs.
