For our latest case study, we visited A.B.S. Silo- und Förderanlagen and gained a first-hand insight into their production processes.
Since 1984, A.B.S. has been developing tailor-made solutions for the storage and handling of bulk materials. Today, more than 100,000 flexible silos, used for materials such as grain, animal feed and wood pellets, are in operation worldwide.
In our interview with Matthias Petzl, we learn about the role laser cutting plays in production. Using the eurolaser 3XL-3200 Conveyor System, large-format, high-strength polyester fabrics are precisely cut from the roll, with the cut edges simultaneously heat-sealed.
