Laserprojection to support welding instructions at Siemens

A direct laser projection of part positions is used at Siemens for welding trains. This eliminates jigs and saves time.

When the welder welds more.

WERKLICHT® PRO for tacking welded parts.

For the manual positioning of welded components, in contrast, there have been no particular advances. The method of choice continues to be welding templates, or even a ruler, tape measure and pencil. But these manual methods often result in inaccurate positioning. Templates may be more accurate, but they are expensive to produce and store, unwieldy to use and inflexible in terms of the range of versions.

With Werklicht® Pro you simply project the position of your components for welding onto the assembly. Then you align the parts in accordance with the projected laser line and start tacking or welding.

The enormous advantage here is that there is absolutely no more need to use any templates – so you don't need to make, maintain or store them any more either.
