Measuring devices capable of precisely measuring micrometers or recording entire components within seconds can be found everywhere today.

The challenge nowadays is more to correctly interpret enormous volumes of high-precision data and to present it such a way that problems can be recorded and understood by everyone involved and in a short space of time, correctly and in the same way.

EXTEND3D takes on this challenge with Werklicht® Video MeVis.

Werklicht® Video Mevis projects measurement readings onto components either in the form of pseudo colour, data variances or individual point measurements. In doing so, Werklicht® Video MeVis projects the measurement readings back onto the work piece. The projection stays in the correct position and adjusts itself dynamically to the position of the component.

If the position of either the component or the projector changes, Werklicht will recognize this with its optical sensors and will adjust the projection automatically using dynamic referencing.

The basic principles are the measurement data of conventional optical and tactile measuring devices.

Werklicht® Video MeVis is therefore an instrument to communicate quality in an effective manner.
