MIA EA series: mechanical diaphragm pump with electric actuator for automatic flow rate adjustment

EA actuator automatically adjusts flow rate proportionally to control signal (typically a 4-20 mA command) and guarantees optimal operator convenience, precision control and high energy efficiency with minimal operating noise. The EA series actuator can also be installed on our FUL series plunger pumps.

EA actuator changes the pump flow rate adjusting the length of the stroke. Therefore, the number of doses remains constant, while the size of each dose is reduced. A typical application is in processes requiring the automatic pH control: a pH-meter downstream of the pump sends feedback to a PLC. This converts the value in a 4-20 mA signal to the EA actuator commanding to adjust the stroke according to the required pH value. The EA actuator changes the stroke of the pump modifying in this way the flow rate of the injected chemicals and as final result adjusting the pH of the entire process.

Suitable for acids and alkalines, MIA EA series reliable and convenient design allows safe and leak free operations of medium requiring minimum maintenance.
