Finder introduces the Type 70.92 thermal protection relay

The Finder 70 Series widens its monitoring relay range with the Type 70.92, a thermistor temperature sensing relay for industrial applications.

The Type 70.92 is the latest addition to Finder’s range of monitoring relays which also include voltage monitoring, current monitoring, phase loss and rotation monitoring, thermal protection and liquid level control.

The new thermistor temperature sensing relay is designed for the protection of motors. It prevents failures or malfunctions that could cause down time in by disconnecting the power supply under conditions of overheating.

When installed, the Type 70.92 relay allows the operating temperature of equipment such as rotors, pumps or motors to be monitored through the changing resistance of the connected PTC probe – ensuring constant and accurate monitoring and the proper operation of the machinery.

But what distinguishes the Type 70.92 thermistor temperature sensing relay from other devices in the Finder 70 Series?

● 2 changeover (DPDT) contacts rated 8A

● Nominal voltage of 24 V AC/DC or 230 V AC

● Temperature detection with PTC

● PTC short circuit detection or PTC wire breakage detection

● Fault memory selectable and restorable with RESET button
