Finder launches two new power relays
Finder has expanded the range with two new devices designed for use with EV chargers up to 22 kW – Types 68.54 and 68.55.
Following the launch of the Types 68.22, 68.23, 68.24, and 68.25 power relays, Finder has expanded the range with two new devices designed for use with EV chargers up to 22 kW – Types 68.54 and 68.55. Both are compliant with IEC 62995, which is an essential requirement for some EV charger manufacturers. As with the other components in the Series, the coil is designed to operate with a minimum holding power of 700 mW, a key factor in maximizing application performance through low power consumption.
Find out more about the technical features:
- Open contact gap of 3.6 mm, in accordance with VDE 0126-1-1, EN 62109-1, EN 62109-2
- Reinforced insulation between coil and contacts
- Usable in ambient temperatures up to 85 °C
- Rated current up to 32 A
- Thermal current up to 40 A
- Meet the requirements of EN 60335-1 regarding heat and fire resistance (GWIT 775 °C and GWFI 850 °C)
- Cadmium-free contacts
Several models in the series (including Type 68.55) are also available with 4 NO contacts + 1 NC contact (Mirror Contact) conforming to EN 60947-4-1. This type of auxiliary contact – mechanically linked – ensures reliable feedback on the status (open/closed) of the contacts.
