Adjustable Torque Knobs & Handles for Constant Tightening Force
Prevent overtightening, damage and distortion
Fixtureworks® (Fraser, MI) - Adjustable torque handles and knobs are ideal for use in fixtures and jigs requiring clamping and torque forces where full handle rotation is restricted by workpiece or limited because of fixture elements and construction. They allow the user to set a specified torque to prevent over-tightening and are ideal for applications where a consistent force is required or where over-tightening can cause damage.
The handle clicks when the specified torque, between 1-8 Nm, is reached. The locking mechanism has 12 teeth, and the amount of torque is set by adjusting the screw in the handle. The handles come with an internal tap or threaded stud. A bolt can be passed through the tapped version to secure the handle. They come as a steel handle with internal or external threads.
The torque limiting knobs both in female and male versions have two preset torque options, either 2Nm or 3Nm. They allow the user to set the specified torque to prevent over-tightening. The spring and the balls inside provide the feel and sound of a click when the specified torque is reached at the tightening end. They come with either internal or external threads.
In addition to the adjustable torque handles and knobs, Fixtureworks also offers myriad workholding components and fixturing accessories including workholding supports, pneumatic flex actuator clamps, nutrunner clamps, quick change pneumatic clamping fasteners, quick action sliding locks spring plunger clamps as well as handles and levers, knobs and grips, equipment handles, hand wheels and cranks, hinges and latches, leveling supports, industrial rubber bumpers, stops and wheels, fixture clamps, clamping locating systems, work positioning elements, vises, grippers and mechanical linear actuators.
