FPI Deploys Mobile Monitoring Vehicle to Ensure Air Quality around Important Venue and Area

Amidst much cheering, Asian games is coming to a close

The highly-anticipated Asian Games kicked off on Sep 23rd, bringing together athletes and spectators from across the region. Amidst much cheering, the games is coming to a close. Outside the venue, as one of our representative products, the mobile monitoring vehicle, seemed to be a sentinel to carry out cruise inspection from start to finish, to ensure the air quality by utilizing the pioneer technologies which were self-developed by FPI.

FPI Safeguards Air Quality of Asian Games

Entrusted by the national and provincial environmental authorities, FPI has set up a special team to ensure the ambient air quality of competition areas. In Hangzhou, FPI dispatched 10 mobile monitoring vehicles and a team with more than 20 engineers to execute operational inspections. The mobile monitoring vehicle integrated dual-channel mass spectrometry, PTR-TOF, conventional six-parameter (PM2.5, PM10, SO2, NO2, CO, O3) monitoring system, etc. Through rapid screening and identification of pollutants, real-time monitoring around the main stadiums of the Asian Games to escort Asian Games were able to be realized.

Utilizing real-time monitoring, data analyzing, precise management, the mobile monitoring vehicle carried out a comprehensive screening of the changes in the concentration of VOCs through roving monitoring, visualized the pollution values and generated "heat map", quickly grasped the distribution and concentration range of VOCs in the area, accurately identified the source of pollution, dynamic monitoring of changes in pollution factors, providing fast and accurate data support to potential pollution source.

In addition to periodical monitoring, mobile monitoring vehicle is capable of applying to emergency monitoring of sudden pollution incidents, ambient VOCs monitoring and other scenarios.
