FPI will supply NORINCO International with 21 air quality monitoring systems, comprising 16 stationary systems and 5 mobile systems.

On December 21st, the signing ceremony for the cooperation agreement on the "Construction and Maintenance Project of Air Quality Monitoring System in Punjab Province, Pakistan" between FPI and NORINCO International was held today at the FPI Center in Hangzhou. According to the accord, FPI will supply NORINCO International with 21 air quality monitoring systems, comprising 16 stationary systems and 5 mobile systems. FPI Group Chairman Gu Haitao, Vice General Manager Tian Kunlun, Overseas Business Division General Manager Zhao Kan from FPI Group, along with NORINCO International Vice General Manager Wang Xiaobing, International Engineering Division General Manager Yuan Haiquan, and Project Management Department Director Qi Yue, among other leaders, attended the event. FPI’s CEO Office Director Wang Shuxian presided over the ceremony.

The project is located in Punjab Province, Pakistan, and is designed to address the increasingly severe problem of air pollution. The plan involves the construction of 21 real-time air quality monitoring stations across eight regions within the province. In line with the principles of sustainable development, FPI and NORINCO International are assisting the Environmental Protection Department of Pakistan in implementing a green development plan. This involves establishing a real-time air quality monitoring system to enhance the capacity for air environment monitoring and management. The initiative aims to facilitate green investments and contribute to environmental sustainability.

The ceremony began, with speeches delivered by Mr. Gu Haitao, Chairman of FPI, Mr. Wang Xiaobing, Vice General Manager of NORINCO International, and Mr. Tian Kunlun, Vice General Manager of FPI.

Mr. Gu Haitao, Chairman of FPI, extended a warm welcome to Vice General Manager Wang Xiaobing and the delegation from NORINCO International. He admired the commendable efforts of the Overseas Business Division in this project and provided crucial instructions for the execution phase. Emphasizing the significance of the project, he requested, 'Treat this project as FPI's flagship project in Pakistan, delivering top-notch products to NORINCO International. Ensure the system operates efficiently, stably, and precisely, showcasing the prowess and image of Chinese enterprises.

Mr. Wang Xiaobing, Vice General Manager of NORINCO International, said, 'This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative. NORINCO International is eager to engage in practical collaboration with FPI, fostering green development and driving technological innovation.' Looking ahead, NORINCO International commits to leveraging its global market channels, enhancing resource integration, and synergizing with FPI's cutting-edge detection products. And to propel Chinese technology and products onto the world stage.

Mr. Tian Kunlun, General Manager of FPI, provided a succinct overview of FPI's developmental journey, business scope, and market presence to the delegation from NORINCO International. He stated, 'As pioneers and practitioners in the global analytical instruments manufacturing industry, FPI has consistently responded to the national 'Going Global' strategy by actively expanding overseas markets. FPI Chairman Gu Haitao, Vice General Manager Tian Kunlun, Overseas Business Division General Manager Zhao Kan, NORINCO International Vice General Manager Wang Xiaobing, International Engineering Division General Manager Yuan Haiquan, Project Management Department Director Qi Yue, and other leaders collectively witnessed the signing ceremony.

Shared their experiences gained during the overseas market development and exploring future opportunities for cooperation. The lively atmosphere of the discussion drew in Mr. Gu Haitao, Chairman of FPI, Mr. Wang Xiaobing, Vice General Manager of NORINCO International, and Mr. Qi Yue, Director of the Project Management Department. Together, they engaged in discussions exploring experiences in the operation of overseas subsidiaries, team building, work methodologies, and other pertinent aspects.

NORINCO International's Project Manager for the Pakistan Air Quality Monitoring Station project, Tan Zidong, provided remote insights into the project bidding process and engaged in discussions with members of FPI's Overseas Business Division to address queries related to project execution. FPI's General Manager of the Overseas Business Division, Zhao Kan, remarked, “FPI has extensive experience in undertaking similar projects. From production and quality inspection to delivery and transportation, we adhere to comprehensive operational standards, ensuring the quality and timely completion of project deliveries.”

The signing of this agreement signify another stride forward for FPI in expanding its footprint in the Pakistani market. In the future, FPI and NORINCO International will establish a higher level, broader scope, and deeper collaboration based on the principles of resource sharing, complementary advantages, and mutual benefits.
