The new visual level switch with sensors, insensitive to dirt

F.lli Giacomello, an Italian company leader in the design and production of fluid control systems, announces the official launch of the RL/V-S, a new level switch from the Rapid Level series designed to guarantee maximum reliability even in dirty and critical environments.
 
RL/V-S was created to meet the needs of those who work in the world of hydraulics, mechanics and fluid treatment, where precision and continuity of operation are essential, but often threatened by the presence of impurities, sediments or oily substances.
 
“This level was born from the specific needs of some of our customers, who were looking for a visual solution, with vertical mounting and adjustable sensors. To create it, we also integrated 3D printed components, a technology that we now regularly use in our production”, explains CEO Daniele Giacomello.
 
Main technical features:
• Insensitive to dirt – perfect for environments with oils, dust and residues
• Combined visual + electrical control (ON/OFF)
• Bistable SPST contacts
• Variable control point (min. 35 mm)
• Versatile installation: Ø55 flange, 1"1/4 GAS or NPT threads
• Temperature range: -20°C to +80°C
• Max. pressure: atmospheric

• Hydraulic power units
• Atmospheric pressure tanks
• Systems containing water, diesel, oils and other compatible liquids
 
Operation is guaranteed by a bistable Reed system, activated by the sliding of the visual indicator. Each sensor can be freely positioned along the axis of the tube to offer precise and customized control.
