IEG - GCL : ACCURACY AND FUNCTIONALITY ' FOR CONTINUOUS MONITORING OF LIQUIDS

From this corporate policy born products such as IEG - GCL , level indicators for signaling continuous accurate and functional , present in two variants in Brass and AISI 316 , able to satisfy the most varied requirements of application .

The IEG - GCL are formed by a chain-reed resistors that allows an exact and constant fluid level, irrespective of its electrical conductivity , pressure, temperature and the presence in it of foams. These level indicators have a structure essentially simple, as the only moving part is the float which , depending on the flow or flow of the liquid , running along the tube . Inside the float is a toroidal magnet, whose field operates without physical contact, small reed switches located inside the sliding tube. The operation of these contacts allows the arming or disarming of the resistance gradually, also placed inside the tube slide, allowing continuous reading of the liquid level. The resistive signal thus generated, can be used directly from devices that accept this input, or via a converter Ohm-4/20mA, able to drive most of the electronic devices on the market.

These characteristics lead to several technical advantages :

- Constant and continuous indication of the level of repeatability with high accuracy .

- Indication of the linear level, regardless of the shape of the tank and the distance between the gauge and the tank walls.

- Remote indication of the extent and possibility of piloting additional controls.

- Can be mounted in a bypass .
