New series of scales for ATEX zones

Giropes launches a new range of scales for ATEX zones to provide solutions for a sector where the weighing process is just as important as the safety of performing it risk-free

Following the launch of the GI400-EX and GI410-EX indicators, Giropes takes a step further towards providing solutions for ATEX zones with the creation of a new range of scales.

The new range of ATEX scales includes three sets with different finishes and protection for ATEX 2/22 zones throughout their elements, from the indicator to the load cells, including the sum box in the case of the 4-cell sets.

The BMX single cell scale is designed with a double tubular frame and comes in two versions, built completely in AISI304 stainless steel or in mixed materials, with a painted steel structure and stainless steel plating.

In addition to this single cell set, there are also two 4-cell sets. The BEX extra-flat scale is ideal for guaranteeing good access to the platform, thanks to its extra-flat design, with the option of a fully AISI304 stainless steel or a fully painted finish. Finally, the PTX scale can be installed on the floor or on the wall, adapting to any type of facility, and offers three different finishes: fully AISI304 stainless steel, with a painted structure and stainless steel plating, or fully painted.

With the launch of this new range of sets for ATEX category 2/22 zones, Giropes expands its catalogue to provide solutions for a sector where the weighing process is just as important as ensuring the safety of performing it risk-free.
