The D6017 HART transmitter power supply by GM International is a galvanically isolated interface designed to power 3-wire and 4-wire transmitters installed in hazardous areas while safely repeating the analog signal to the safe area. The module ensures reliable signal transfer together with full HART communication transparency, making it suitable for advanced process monitoring systems.
The device provides transmitter supply up to 200 mA at 24 Vdc, allowing direct connection of active field instruments without the need for additional power modules. At the same time, it repeats the current signal to drive loads in the safe area, preserving both analog accuracy and digital HART communication.
Designed for demanding industrial environments, the D6017 supports installation in Zone 2 / Div. 2 hazardous locations and offers SIL 3 capability, 500 V galvanic isolation, G3 conformal coating, and an extended operating temperature range from –40 to +70 °C. The module is available in single-channel configuration with sink or source output options.
