eDirectory Hologram: interactive terminal with great visual impact

Integration of large-format display and holographic fan in the same technological solution.

Imagine a world where reality merges with fantasy, where virtual objects come to life and materialise in front of your eyes. Welcome to the world of holograms, a technology that is no longer exclusive to science fiction films but has become a tangible, fascinating and cutting-edge reality.

A hologram is a three-dimensional image generated from an optical illusion, through the interference of light. Unlike conventional 2D images, holograms have depth and the appearance of solidity, which makes them visually stunning and very attractive. You can now witness images that appear to emerge from virtual space and take their place in the real world.

This is made possible by advances in holography and holographic fans.

To project a hologram, a more advanced technique known as projection holography is needed, in which holographic projectors are used.

At Grupo EOS Ibérica we have holographic fans that can be integrated into our interactive terminals. An example of this is our eDirectory Hologram. A new digital kiosk, which with this innovation together with the different formats of interactive screens that can be integrated, is a powerful communication and advertising tool.

Read on to find out what holographic projectors are and the advantages of using holograms in business.

How do holographic fans work?

Holographic fans are a device that combines projection technology and rotational motion to create the illusion of a 3D hologram floating in the air.

Unlike traditional holographic projectors, which require a transparent screen or SLM, holographic fans use a rotating structure equipped with LED lights or a pixel array to project images in sequence while rotating at high speed. These sequential images are synchronised with the rotation of the fan, creating the perception of a moving holographic object.

The holographic fan uses the persistence of human vision to trick the eye and create the illusion of a three-dimensional hologram in the air. As the holographic fan spins rapidly, the images projected at each moment merge and are perceived as a three-dimensional moving object.

Benefits of using holograms in the business environment

Hologram fans are often used in advertising, trade show or entertainment applications.

The use of holograms in the business world makes it possible to display eye-catching and impressive holographic images that capture the attention of customers or potential customers.

In addition, the use of holograms has multiple advantages when it comes to transmitting our messages or products. These are some of the advantages that we can highlight:

Capture the public's attention more effectively, as holograms allow companies to present their products or services in a unique way.

Stand out at events, trade fairs or other commercial spaces as they allow the projection of 3D products, animated graphics or even create a holographic avatar of a speaker. Holograms add an element of surprise and impact to your corporate events, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

Training and simulation. Their applications go beyond entertainment, communication or advertising. In sectors such as medicine, engineering and aviation, holograms can be used to recreate immersive and realistic training environments. Professionals can practice complex procedures in a safe virtual environment before putting them into practice in real life.

Holograms allow messages and knowledge to be conveyed in an impactful and effective way.

At Grupo EOS Ibérica we are at the forefront of this innovative technology. We have holographic fans that can be integrated into our technological solutions such as the e722 and the eDirectory Hologram, to offer your customers a visual, immersive and surprising experience. Holographic fans can project a variety of content, such as 3D products, animated logos, visual effects and even virtual characters.

Do you want to take your communication to the next level and surprise your customers or potential customers? Don't miss the opportunity to discover how the Hologram eDirectory can transform the way your business communicates. Contact us today without obligation.
