Infrared radiation pyrometer for non-contact temperature measurement in steel industry
High Accuracy Short Wave Pyrometer
HEITRONICS Infrared Radiation Pyrometer Series CT18 and CT18LL are specially designed
for highest measuring accuracy in temperature determination and -control in the metalworking industry, in semiconductor processes, in glass manufacturing, in foundries or generally for use in extremely harsh environments. Even the use at ambient temperatures of up to 300 °C is easily possible with stainless steel cooling jackets and protective housings.
The adaptabilities to the respective measuring applications are nearly unlimited. By offering the view finder, laser pilot light, air purge and cooling jackets as well as fibre optics, all necessary options are available to control the manufacturing processes more efficient.
Several selectable temperature ranges between 200 °C and 3.000 °C are available on request in one radiation pyrometer.
Serial interfaces and corresponding complete software solutions are available depending on application. Even extremely small spot sizes and very short response times can be selected by default. The constant self-monitoring routine ensures reliable operation, and integrated calibration routine allows a fast and reliable control of devices locally.
A typical application for the CT18 pyrometers with fibre optics is the use in induction hardening and induction hardening processes. The temperature is always measured accurately and reproducibly, unaffected by electromagnetic radiation, or inaccessible measuring points or ambient temperatures of up to 200 °C.
Furthermore, these devices are used in metal pressing, annealing, rolling, soldering, forging, annealing, and the epitaxy.
