How to Correctly Calibrate Infrared Thermometers (Pyrometers)
Highest accuracy with HEITRONICS
In the semi-automated HEITRONICS calibration laboratory, qualified employees are dedicated to the requirements and specifications of ISO IEC 17025-2017. The calibration of the radiation thermometer is carried out on radiation sources (blackbodies) by comparing a HEITRONICS transfer standard with the device to be calibrated. This device and the HEITRONICS transfer standard are each aligned with the horizontally and vertically determined radiometric center of the respective blackbody and the measured values are determined in quick succession.
The HEITRONICS transfer standards serve as a reference, are regularly calibrated and are traceable to the national standards of the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt in Berlin. Blackbody radiators and transfer radiation thermometers produced by HEITRONICS offer a high standard and low measurement uncertainties in the calibration and production of radiation thermometers.
