The electronic multifunctional counter tico 77x

The tico 77x from Hengstler is the most versatile electronic multifunctional counter on the market. The device can be used for counting individual quantities as well as for position readout, speed measurement, length and operating hours. The tico 77x offers high counting frequencies, a conveniently readable 6-digit LCD display and long signal times of up to 10 minutes.

In developing the tico 77x, Hengstler has produced an electronic counter that is suitable for a wide range of applications. Whether as a pulse counter, tachometer, time counter, shift counter or batch counter: the tico 77x features an input frequency of up to 60 kHz, a generous two-line display and a digit height of 9.3 mm and 7.2 mm (2nd line). The display is also backlit with four different character colours that can be selected. Up to three presets (P0, P1, P2) are possible as absolute or trailing presets and as range signal/threshold limit value – a negative preset can also be defined. The tico 773 and tico 774 versions also have a USB or RS232 interface, which guarantees fast and uncomplicated communication with a connected PC. Both counters are also equipped with a programming wizard.

The areas of application for the tico 77x counter range from length measurement in the paper, metals and textile industries to displays monitoring occupancy in multi-storey car parks and the detection of container fill levels. The latch/reset function also allows the counter to count parts per unit in the background while the display shows the quantity of the preceding unit. In industrial environments, this means parts in the machining process can be displayed while the parts in the next container are being recorded in the background.

The electronic multifunction counter tico 77x is conveniently mounted using the screw terminals and the plug-in connection terminals supplied.
