PTP Master and Slave GPS clocks, IEEE1588, with timestamped Event trigger inputs

HEOL DESIGN offers complete Master+Slave PTP solutions, with sub-microsecond accuracy. The GPS or GPS+GLONASS/GALILEO/BEIDOU receiver enables very fast start-up times, as it is based on a high performance chipset with -160dBm sensitivity and T-RAIM algorithm, it delivers extremely accurate timing information, even in poor signal level conditions (indoor, urban canyons and signal obscured environments).

Precision Time Protocol (IEEE1588) has been implemented for applications that need sub-microsecond synchronization, in Unicast or Multicast, one step or two step.

As an option, a low drift OCXO can be integrated, with Holdover capabilities (when satellites are lost, or synchronization from Master is lost), and battery powered RTC Clock, to startup with no GNSS satellites at all.

These Master and Slave units can also integrate Trigger Events recorder : the number of events channels inputs can be configured up to 20, with galvanic isolation to 2500V RMS.

There is a high capacity memory, enabling to record up to 500.000 external events.

The time-stamped data can be monitored and uploaded by RS232, SNMP, or through the web server. Data include index, channel number, UTC time, GPS position.

Numeric filters on the event inputs can be also configured : choice of the detection edge, programmable delay, sample and hold, etc...).

These Master/Slave PTP units are available in industrial rack, ruggedized military grade half-rack, or compact module for mobile and low power applications.
