STAINLESS STEEL CHARGING VALVE VG8 (FOR COMPRESSED AIR) FOR PLASTIC PULSATION DAMPERS
ADACNEU.5
For filling pressures below 10 barg and when the process liquid is compatible with air, pulsation dampers can be filled using compressed air.
In this way the operation of filling the pulsation dampeners is easier, since they can be filled with a tire inflation kit and a compressor or a compressed air line.
All HIDRACAR pulsation dampeners are fitted with a 1/4" BSP charge valve and, when air inflation was required, we can incorporated an ADACNEU.5 brass adapter (1/4" BSP female to VG8). And evolving to help the process industry, we have also developed the possibility to have the pulse damper directly fitted with the VG8 connection.
In that way, HIDRACAR offers three possibilities to charge their pulse dampers for filling pressures below 10 barg:
- standard 1/4" BSB charging valve, to pre-charge and verify with our filling kit;
- the ADACNEU.5 adapter 1/4" BSP female to VG8;
- a VG8 connection mounted in the pulse damper, without the need to request the adaptor ADACNEU.5
The only difference at the level of references to differentiate one and another chargin valve is the following. As an example:
U001A01E1-PC, "A" for 1/4 "BSP valve in AISI316L. Valve Ref. 004-AI (for pressures up to 140 barg)
U001B01E1-PC, "B" for VG8 valve in AISI316L. Valve Ref. 004-AI-BP (for pressures up to 10 barg)
(*) both references will have the same sale price
In the lower photographs, you can see on the left the assembly of the new VG8 charging valve in AISI316. On the right you can see the previous assembly, of 1/4 "BSP valve with the ADACNEU adapter. 5.
