ECB KNZD-13 for Alburz Tunnel, Tehran-Shomal Freeway

KNTECH supplied an emergency telephone system for the Alburz Tunnel on the Tehran-Shomal Freeway in Iran, with the project commissioned in October 2019. The key equipment included the Emergency Call Box model KNZD-13, the self-testing telephone system TSS-1000, power amplifier KNMK-650, and waterproof speaker L4.

The system’s core advantage lies in its comprehensive self-checking function, which allows the real-time status of every component to be monitored from the control room. This capability significantly reduces manual inspection and maintenance costs while ensuring 24/7 operational reliability. Furthermore, the system is designed for seamless integration with other platforms. Its high stability has earned strong approval from the project owner.
