KNTECH Launches SNMP Unified Network Management System for Mission-Critical Dispatching Networks

A single web-based console to monitor, locate and manage every telephone terminal across IP PBX, recorder and dispatching networks

Hong Kong Koon Technology Limited (KNTECH), a trusted EPC turnkey contractor in emergency communications, has released its SNMP Unified Network Management System (NMSX1) for large-scale telephone dispatching networks.

Built on a browser/server (B/S) architecture, the system runs on a Linux server and is operated entirely through a web GUI, enabling network-wide management of all devices registered to the system — IP PBX servers, recorders, office telephones, subway station telephones and tunnel telephones.

Based on the SNMP protocol, the system delivers: map navigation to quickly locate the physical position of each telephone terminal; real-time visibility of the health status of every managed object; instant alarm reporting from terminals, IP PBX and recorders; batch management of terminal groups as well as single-terminal management; and open interconnection via trunking gateway (trunking radio systems), VoIP gateway (other telephony systems) and SIP protocol (PA and SCADA systems).

The SNMP unified network management system is mainly deployed in large telephone dispatching applications, including subways, stations and industrial construction sites, where operators must manage a class of terminals in batches or supervise individual units.
